Day 14 – 3 Healthy Habits (30 Day Blogging Challenge)

So as you’ll have seen from yesterday’s ‘What’s in your fridge?’ post, I’m not at my healthiest right now. That being said I do try to keep healthy, mostly because I feel like it’s easier to look at my mind when I’m looking after my body too. So here at 3 little things that I always do to help me do that.

Habit 1: Water, water, water. It literally helps with everything. I get a lot of headaches and drinking lots makes all the difference. Since I’ve consciously been drinking at least 2l a day, it’s also made a world of difference to my skin. I think I even snack less. If I’ve got a full on day I like to just take a 2l bottle with me to get through (yes people do stare but there’ll be the ones sitting in afternoon lectures thirsty with a headache)

Habit 2: Exercise. I’m more of a gym person than a sports person but do what works for you (and it does not have to be conventional exercise just get moving). If I’m going to the gym alone then I always go in the morning, basically so I get up and go before I change my mind! My flatmate and I also do classes together some evenings like Zumba or POUND Fit (if you’ve never heard of it look it up immediately, I LOVE it!)

Habit 3: Take food/lunch with you. I always take my lunch to work/university with me (and some snacks of course) but a lot of people don’t and it’s so easy to just pop into McDonalds or to the supermarket over the road. If you do this and this works for you then that is absolutely fine, I’m not hating at all! I just know that personally this would work out really unhealthy for me and it’s not something I can really afford to do either!

If you guys have an easy tips for being that little bit healthier I’d love to hear them!
